AIAIAI x Resident Advisor: FJAAK on Hybrid Mixing and the Power of Groove

We're proud to partner with Resident Advisor on another edition of their renowned feature “The Art of DJing,” this time exploring the artistry of FJAAK, the Berlin-based techno duo whose DIY nerdiness and relentless hardware mastery have made them defining figures in underground club culture.

Known for their deep obsession with rhythm and groove, FJAAK blend vinyl mixing with live hardware elements to create relentless, kaleidoscopic techno. They draw inspiration from hours spent digging in legendary Berlin record stores and early acoustic jam sessions, which taught them to value natural, human "swing" over the static perfection of a digital grid.
