Our Open Studio project—a two-week collaboration with Ableton in Barcelona—has officially wrapped. What started as an idea to offer artists a space to experiment, connect, and create in a fully equipped environment grew into something even more special than we imagined.
Over 14 days, the studio welcomed an inspiring mix of artists and communities. We had visits from Skream, Cassandra Jenkins, Dave P, Zora Jones, Mad Mirin, Dubfire, Cardopusher/Safety Trance, Marina Herlop, Veruschka, and many more, alongside sessions led by collectives like SIN Sync, Me Siento Extraña, and Jokkoo. We also hosted two days of live streaming with Dublab BCN, adding another layer to the open, collaborative atmosphere.
The studio became a meeting point—buzzing with activity and bringing together old friends and new connections. Artists used the space to exchange ideas, test out gear like DJ Wireless and Studio Wireless, record, and simply spend time with other music creatives.
A huge thank you to everyone who came through. Whether you led a session, contributed to the conversation, or simply shared a moment—you helped shape the energy of the studio.
And of course, special thanks to Ableton for being our partner in bringing Open Studio to life.
Scroll down for a few highlights, and stay tuned for future projects and collaborations.
Thanks to Roberto Sanchez for the photos.
